We recently stayed at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort and luxury it provided. We liked all the reviews when looking on the net for rooms/apartments and for the price we would pay for a hotel room we got a one bedroom apartment with a great view of surfers paradise. Easy instructions for late check in. The apartment was clean and looked the same as what it did in the photos, jst a short 5 min walk over the bridge and your in surfers paradise so close to every thing that you needed. Karen was super friendly and gave us lots of info on what to do and some "local pointers" we will definitly be back to stay again.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the city skyline from the hotel room. The location was also very convenient as there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We appreciated the easy access to transportation as well.

Our positive experience was ruined by the terrible service and poor cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was unhelpful and rude, making our stay very uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel was great, as we could easily access all the main attractions and restaurants on foot. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen. Despite being close to the city centre, we were able to sleep peacefully without any disturbance.

The check-in process was a bit confusing and could have been smoother.

We found an old bra and socks that did not belong to us under the bed, we did not have enough dish washing liquid or washing powder to last for our duration (4 nights) and the room was not sound proof so we had to be really quiet after 10pm

Ideal location in the centre of the Gold Coast but away from traffic. Staff were very friendly and helpful while being non-intrusive. Facilities were spotless and ideal for a couple or a family with a couple of young children. Food shops were within walking distance with plenty of choice and other shops were not too far away. The beach is close by as are other features of the Gold Coast such as Sea World.

There was nothing to dislike.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and tidiness of the apartments at Chevron Palms. The staff at reception, particularly Karen, were incredibly helpful in providing us with local information and recommending tours. Despite some mixed reviews we had read, we found the place to be faultless. We truly believe that sometimes you have to experience a place for yourself before passing judgment. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great price for such a good location and large apartment style rooms.

The confussing factor is the management team was brilliant. More confussing was the parking garage: It was the cleanest we have ever experienced. That's about it regarding the positive. Frequent user of Booked.net: First time that discription and ratings did not match with listing. This facility is better suited to younger back packer mode of stay than the mature travelers. No elevator from parking below makes for a grueling treck to the room with your bags. Room smelled of smoke and bleach: awful. Furnishings were a long way from this side of outdated. Kitchen required cleaning, along with all utensils. Floor was not cleaned and was sandy. A few more minutes on the vacum would have been the trick. Sheets and blankets needed to be washed. Value for money just was not there. We will not be rebooking with this establishment.
